About PazGallery & Studio

PazGallery & Studio is a visual art studio founded by a passionate artist and photographer. My work is inspired by abstract art, figurative art and represents the visual expressions of myself. As a visual artist with Bachelor of Fine Arts from  University of Manitoba and a major in painting and photography. I aim to push my boundaries of creativity and create unique pieces that reflect my artistic vision.

Shosh Shalev-Minuk is a dynamic and expressive artist whose work captures the essence of sound, movement, and emotion. As contemporary, figurative and abstract artist, she explores the interplay between form and feeling, creating works that are both visually compelling and deeply emotive. Her art is a visual symphony—a reflection of her love for life, music, and dance—serving as an extension of her spirit, beliefs, and experiences.

Born in Haifa, Israel, Shosh relocated to Winnipeg, Canada, in 1981. Her artistic journey has been a bridge between cultures, seamlessly blending the richness of her Israeli roots with the influences of her Canadian home. This fusion of identities breathes life into her work, where vibrant colours, fluid motion, and raw emotion converge to create immersive visual experiences.

Encouraged by her family and supporters, Shosh earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 2009. Drawing inspiration from master artists such as Marc Chagall, Wassily Kandinsky, Emil Nolde, and Yossi Stern, she has developed a distinct visual language that transcends boundaries. Her artistry spans multiple mediums, including watercolour, ink, pastel, acrylic, oil, fused glass, photography, and digital painting, each medium offering her new ways to express movement, depth, and emotion. Since 1998, she has exhibited and sold her work in Winnipeg, captivating audiences with her bold, expressive compositions.

Shosh’s artistic approach is defined by her masterful use of bold brushstrokes, layered textures, and striking colour harmonies. Whether through figurative or abstract expression, she expertly weaves these elements together, infusing her paintings with energy, rhythm, and a profound sense of motion. Her work is not just seen—it is felt. Through every stroke and hue, she invites viewers into a world where colours dance, emotions resonate, and stories unfold, leaving a lasting impression on the heart and soul.
